At 16, in a small New Zealand town, I discovered that school wasn't my stage, but the beauty industry was. Undiagnosed ADHD and Autism led me out of the classroom and into a world where makeup and beauty reign supreme.
My journey from apprentice to solo tanning extraordinaire brought me to Perth, Australia, where a lash extension course in 2016 changed everything. My home salon grew, surviving health battles and blossoming into a 160sqm beauty and wellness spa—a testament to resilience and growth post-COVID.
As a lash extension educator, award-winning lash and brow artist, and business leader, my accolades speak to both artistry and business acumen. My work has been featured in magazines, I've spoken at events, and judged lash competitions.
Through health challenges like endometriosis and fibromyalgia, and even facing discrimination, I've remained steadfast. I honored $25k worth of vouchers from a dishonest salon sale, proving integrity in adversity.
Behind the titles, I'm a beauty science nerd, passionate about chemical reactions, skin science, and the intricate dance of biology and beauty. I even created the Lash Library for fellow lash nerds like myself.
The pinnacle? Being crowned the Australian Women's Small Business Champion in 2022.
Now, as a coach, my mission is clear: to empower others with knowledge, resilience, and business savvy, no matter the hurdles. The beauty industry isn't just about transformations—it's about triumphs, truths, and the unwavering spirit of those who dare to be different. 🌟
